Pay only for the level of care you receive

At MUSC Health, we’re committed to transparency in our billing. A board-certified physician trained in emergency medicine sees every patient at each of our MUSC Health Emergency and Urgent Care locations. Our fair billing practice ensures you’ll pay the lowest possible cost for your care.

If you receive urgent care services, you’ll pay lower fees than you would for emergency medical treatment. That means you get treatment from an emergency-trained physician at a lower cost than you’re likely to pay at other Emergency Departments (EDs). And we’ll discuss what you can expect on your bill during your visit.

NOTE: MUSC Health Emergency at Kiawah Medical Partner Pavilion, a part of MUSC Health Medical Center, does not offer urgent care services and therefore bills at ED rates.
