That’s why we created MUSC Health Emergency and Urgent Care. By offering Emergency Departments (EDs) and Urgent Care under the same roof, we ensure patients get the right level of care quickly and efficiently.

When you come to MUSC Health Emergency and Urgent Care, our emergency medicine providers are on-site around the clock. A board-certified physician trained in emergency medicine cares for every patient. And if your condition doesn't require full emergency-level treatment, you'll only be billed for the level of care you actually receive — not a higher ER rate. This fair billing policy saves families money, while still giving you the expertise of an emergency-trained physician for every visit.

Emergency services are available 24/7 and our urgent care is open from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily. MUSC Health Emergency and Urgent Care is expanding across South Carolina, with locations opening in the Midlands, Pee Dee region, and throughout the Lowcountry — including several in the Tri-county area.
